Sitting at the airport bout to fly out for the #cpsda conference just really has me pumped for the next one!! ___ So what do you think happens when we tell people to eat as much peanut butter as they can possibly stomach!?!🤣 ___ Do they lose fat because peanut butter is satiating and their appetite for everything else drops off? ___ Do they gain muscle because they are active individuals and consuming more protein? ___ Do they lose muscle because they are sooooo full of peanut butter that they feel lethargic and can’t train as consistently? Full belly mode!! 🤣🤣🤣 ___ Do they gain fat because peanut butter is primarily fat??? 😛😛😛 ___ Or does nothing happen?? 🔥INTERMITTENT FASTING TO SUIT YOUR SCHEDULE🔥 . Save this if you’re just getting started with Intermittent Fasting. . Confused about what time you can eat? . I’ve got you covered. . People really loved yesterdays post about intermittent fasting but there seems to be a little confusion about the timing of meals. . I want you to be clear that there are many different protocols for intermittent fasting and in this case I’m talking about the 16/8 or Leangains method popularised by Martin Berkhan. . If you don’t know already 16/8 refers to a 16hrs fast and 8hrs eating window. . So, you have an 8 hrs period where you can eat as many meals as you want. You can have 2 meals with snacks in between or 3 meals without snacks, for example. . It’s up to you how you want to do it. . Here’s 3 examples of schedules that will suit different scenarios: . -A: Skip Breakfast - perfect for people that work 9-5 and either don’t feel hungry at breakfast or just want to save time in the morning . -B: Skip Lunch - If you feel your best eating breakfast or you like to eat late, then this is probably a better way to structure I.F. . -C: Skip Dinner - People that work unsociable hrs or just prefer to stop eating earlier in the day would choose this option. . Ultimately, these are just guidelines and examples. You can set it up however you want as long as you follow a strict 8 hrs feeding period. . Don’t forget that I.F. is just a way to restrict your calories and that calories do still count. If you overeat within those 8hrs, you will still not lose fat. . Even though it’s a loss, I’m still struggling with this whole weight loss thing mentally. I have been more mindful of my food choices but I still struggle to stay within my daily points almost every day and I feel like I’m always hungry. It’s a process, right?
