Finally 😁😁

This was the program that started it all. I didn’t order it from a Coach..... I had no idea there was even such a thing. Nope, I ordered it off an informational probably while stuffing my face with something super healthy (insert sarcasm) and feeling sorry for myself 😕. The DVD set arrived and I was determined.....sorta. Okay, not really. I tried the workouts a couple of times, realized how truly out of shape I was, and put it on the shelf as a beautiful reminder of yet another failed attempt. . Fast forward to when I found my Coach....right here on social media. She encouraged me and put me into a group where I found there were other people just like me doing this workout! They were making it happen. Some were older than me, heavier than me, probably more out of shape than me....but they were doing it. And I decided if they could do it - well then darn it, so could I! 👊🏼. And I did! And I got results! And I drank the proverbial Kool-aid 😉. Behind me is an entire shelf of programs I’ve completed since then - all with the support of other women like me - just on a journey to be our best selves and encouraging others to do the same. The COMMUNITY and the ACCOUNTABILITY made all the difference in the world for me! And I’m forever grateful for the woman who invited me to be a part of it! 💕 . So here’s me inviting you. Do you have that beautiful reminder of past failures? That program on the shelf that’s collecting dust? I’m asking you to dust it off and give it another shot....but THIS TIME with SUPPORT. This time with someone in your corner! . Believe me, if I can do this, anyone can! And I didn’t do it seriously takes a village sometimes 😉. But I WILL be your cheerleader 📣 🎉. I WILL be in your corner! . Stop sitting on the sidelines watching LIFE pass you by! Stop sitting on the couch watching infomercials and wishing and wondering if it could work for you! . A little bit of meal prep going down today and had to share this winner!! I may have even shared it before but if so, it’s worth sharing again! 😉. This is a meal that I could seriously eat every day - and it’s sooo easy! Around my house we call this “crack slaw” 😄 . Ingredients: 1 Pound Lean ground beef 2 (or more if you love garlic like me!) Cloves of garlic 2 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce or liquid amnios 2 Tablespoons Sriracha 1/4 Teaspoon pepper 10- 12 Ounces cole slaw mix 1/2 Teaspoon sea salt 2 Tablespoons Sesame seed oil 1 Tablespoon white wine vinegar Instructions: 1 Start by heating your sesame seed oil in a large wok and crushing 2 garlic cloves into it. Cook until fragrant. 2 Add in a pound of ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon.
Once your ground beef is browned, about 5-10 minutes, add in your cole slaw salad mix and toss to combine. 3 Add in sriracha, soy sauce and vinegar and toss. Let this cook for about 5 minutes for the cole slaw mix to wilt.
Season with salt and pepper and enjoy! . Depending on what I need for my meal plan at the time I sometimes will throw in black beans or raw pumpkin seeds - both are a winner! If you try it let me know what you think! . . #mealprep #veggiesmost #healthyrecipes #healthytips #eatcleantrainmean

I think I found my new favorite snack. A whole sliced cucumber and cream cheese with rice seasoning. I'm no longer aloud to have sushi but love the fillings. My numbers have gone down from 142 to 134. Swipe to see reading. #selfcaresunday 💕 . I didn’t actually cancel my plans for today....the rain took care of that for me. But I think it was probably God’s way of letting me know I needed to just unplug and rest. I’m not sure He led me to the DVR and the jar of peanut butter ☺️, but I’m going with it 😉 . Confession: I don’t want children. 🤱🏻 . A lot of people feel sorry for me when I say this aloud. But I know myself enough to know that I’m not built for children. I don’t want my life to change for a tiny human who depends on me to care for them, ensure their survival, raise them to be decent humans with some ethics and standards. Also, somehow the dude that does the sperm donation seems to want to stick around...for like the rest of your life. Never been super successful with that scenario either. 👪 . Some people think my rationales for not having children are selfish. To that I say: 1. Not your business. 2. I’m selfless on the potential child’s behalf to admit that I value what I currently have more than the idea of having a child. . Plus, studies have shown that the number one thing you can do to offset climate change is to have one less child. So really, I’m doing the whole planet a favor. 🌎 . And kids take all your time. 🕐And money. 💵 And sleep. 😴 And patience. 😤 . What do you think 🤔? #teamkids or #teamnokids

I share a favorite bible verse most Sundays.....but today as I reflect on the tragic events of this week, I felt this appropriate to share. . In the midst of the tragedy that occurred in Santa Fe a few days ago, hundreds of people gathered in an open field behind the library for a prayer vigil. To mourn the loss, to comfort the hurting, to pray for the students, the parents, the teachers.....all of those who in some way were effected by this senseless act of violence. The school superintendent took the stage and as she spoke she shared these verses from 2 Corinthians ❤️ . ❤️Pray for Santa Fe ❤️Pray for our youth ❤️Pray for our country Hold tight to the ones you love. Reach out to those people that you’ve let too much time pass. Let go of anger, bitterness, and hate. Teach our children love, kindness, and forgiveness. . There is no way to make sense of something so horrific- and there are just things that we’ll never understand this side of Heaven. But each one of us can make an impact in the change. It starts with you. It starts with me. 💕. And last night at our church we wrapped our arms around each other and our youth and let them know they are LOVED. They have PURPOSE. .
